Water Purifier
On Saturday I bought a water purifier.
I bought bottled water everyday until Saturday.
I finish a 2 liter bottle in 2 days.
I had to throw away lots of plastic bottles every week.
It was time consuming, because I had to go to the grocery store.
I also had to pay 65-100 Yen a bottle.
The water purifier cost me 2440 Yen. It came with 2 filters.
A filter lasts 3 months. A replacement filter costs 2400 Yen.
65 Yen x 45 days = 2,925 Yen – 2400 Yen = 525 Yen
It took me some time to wash it, but the water was tasteless and odorless.
I was impressed! I highly recommend getting one.
I think it could also be useful when there is a natural disaster.

There are many different verbs that English speakers use when talking about food. It’s very important to choose the correct verb in the kitchen, or risk someone thinking that you are a horrible (or dangerous) cook.
For example, when it comes to cakes, cookies, and bread, we should always use the verb bake. We can’t cook a cake. It just sounds really wrong and weird.
